Now, I’m not saying that EA just announced Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare for the PS4, but…

They are being awfully chipper, wouldn’t you say?

Also, pretty enthusiastic about something.

Could it be that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is coming out for the Playstation 4? These tweets parodying Sly Cooper , and Fat Princess (both Sony first-party exclusives) certainly suggest so.

(Ahem.)

Also, considering the fact that Xbox One, and 360 owners have been exclusively enjoying the 24-player, Frostbite 3-powered tactical team shooter since its release in February, this sounds about right. Since the PC version isn’t due out until August, could the PS4 version be arriving alongside it? It would line up nicely with an ending contract.

I’d say, this announcement seems pretty much confirmed. No word on whether Boss mode, (which used Xbox Smartglass), or the local 4 player splitscreen will make the transition (or recieve an upgrade), but cheeky as they’re being, EA will likely have more to spill in the upcoming weeks.
